Scissor Pallet Trucks

Scissor lift pallet vehicles are made to have the ability to rearrange and stack pallets with an integrated raising device that allows the pallets to be elevated. This apparatus is extremely valuable for working in restricted spaces that will not allow for a full-sized lift truck. The scissor pallet truck is extremely efficient at loading and offloading pallets and moving them from location to location due to their maneuverability and small turning radius. Scissor lifting mechanisms are produced with a folding support system created of interlinked bars. As the system extends, the lift is raised, and as it contracts, the lift lowers. Scissor jacks differ from standard jacks in that they do not ascend at a continuous rate of speed, but somewhat more gradually at either end of the extension, for that reason, they tend to offer a bumpier ride than standard hydraulic jacks.

Furthermore, they are fairly compact and call for little space to store. Since the weight is scattered across the arms of the scissors, they tend to raise weight more evenly. Many competing firms produce an array of different scissor pallet trucks capable of hauling materials of all dimensions.
